Yancy Minerals LLC was selected by ICEC, the globally affiliated International Commodities Export Corporation, as the sole authorized supplier of its urea, sulfuric acid and molten sulfur products to market to selected customers. About ICEC Canadian Remelt Facility

In 2005 ICEC purchased approximately 600,000 tons of sulfur contained in an existing sulfur storage block in Alberta, Canada. Designed to melt roughly 800 tons of sulfur daily, the remelting facility is a pit remelt system able to achieve high volumes while being sensitive to the environment. The project is expected to take 24-36 months to complete. All remelted product will ship to US and international markets. Sales of the remelt product will be shipped using ICEC’s existing 1300 railcar fleet managed in-house by the railcar management division.

At the close of the project, ICEC will initiate the land reclamation phase to restore the site.
